I ordinarily just right click on mine and select DELETE simply like any other folder...

What blazon of fault are you having ?

If you but delete it like that, information technology does non delete everything in the folder. Information technology leaves shadow copy backup data. I am trying to avert this.

I take never noticed anything similar that, merely my auto is not using any type of auto fill-in features that would trigger that... I don't call up anyhow...

Accept you lot tried using "Disk Cleanup" (C:\Windows\System32\cleanmgr) "Every bit Administrator" on that drive ?

Now listen you this hard drive partitioning "(O:)" on my external difficult drive is also my File History segmentation. I made a windows 10 system image with the "backup and restore (windows seven)" program located on the control panel. This what my the partitioning root looks like:

I don't actually know how using File History may conflict with deleting the WindowsImageBackup..

I have never used that feature, and as a result, have never encountered any conflicts...

Sorry I tin can't be more than helpful with that..
